Anthem SOCA Benefit Plan

The Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance has partnered with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to establish a simpler, more cost-effective way to offer group insurance to small business chamber members. The SOCA Benefit Plan is a self-funded arrangement for small employers known as a multiple employer welfare arrangement (aka MEWA).

Since 2016, our partnership with Anthem allows the SOCA Benefit Plan to offer big benefits for thousands of small employers throughout Ohio:

Affordable Rates: Rates similar to large groups, underwritten for the small group market

Stable Costs: Built-in stop loss coverage, fixed monthly payments

Flexible Benefits: Designed for local, small business employees

Simplified Administration: Locally managed, streamlined process

Broad Networks: Diverse network of doctors and health professionals serving millions locally and nationwide

Additional Savings: One time credit for adding dental, vision, and/or life coverage

The Plan is offered by more than 280 local Chambers of Commerce in Ohio and through a distribution network of more than 500 insurance brokers. Please click the Get a Quote button below if you would like someone to contact you about the SOCA Benefit Plan.
